Britain’s Got Talent Predictions & Tips: Who Will Win Britain’s Got Talent 2020?

The taped auditions are now airing and the bookmakers have picked out the early front-runners, predicting a possible three-horse race between singers Beth Porch and Fayth ifil, and choir Sign Along With Us.

Beth tugged at the nation’s heart strings with her song ‘You Taught Me What Love Is’, and received a standing ovation from the judges as she eased through the audition stage of the competition. The bookies were clearly moved by the full-time nurse’s performance too, because she is the odds-on favourite to win the competition and seal a spot on the 2020 Royal Variety Performance line-up. Even at this early stage of the competition it screams ‘foregone conclusion’ that this will happen.

But if she is denied the prize, the leading contenders to win Britain’s Got Talent 2020 are Sign Along With Us and Fayth Ifil.

There was not a dry eye in the venue as the choir, led by Christian Kilduff and his sister Jade, signed and sung their way through the epic track from The Greatest Showman, This Is Me, and their performance persuaded judge David Walliams to reach for the Golden Buzzer and send them straight through to the semi-finals. They remain some way behind Beth Porch in the outright betting, but at 9/2 they are currently one of just two other acts shorter than 20s at this stage.

The other act is young singer Fayth Ifil. The 12-year-old, who has starred in a couple of West End musicals, wowed the audience, the British public and the judges with her rendition of Tina Turner’s ‘Proud Mary’, and at 7/1 the bookmakers are not ruling out the possibility of her getting an opportunity to perform in front of the Royal family in future.

Sign Along With Us and Fayth Ifil are clearly the main rivals to Beth Porch, but at this time it is very difficult to look past the signing nurse, even though there are more auditions to come before the line-up for the semi-finals is complete. The live semi-finals and final broadcasts will not happen for a while yet, but if you are looking to back a Britain’s Got Talent winner at this time it has to be Beth.

Britain’s Got Talent Predictions & Tips: When Is Britain’s Got Talent 2020?

The 2020 Britain’s Got Talent schedule is uncertain at this time. Auditions were taped earlier this year and are being broadcast on ITV during the month of April, but at this time there are no confirmed dates and times for the live broadcasts of the semi-finals and the Britain’s Got Talent final itself.

“We have been working with the brilliant production teams at Thames and Syco to find a way of making the live finals work, which were due to be broadcast at the end of May,” said an ITV spokesperson in early April.

“However, in light of the latest government health guidelines and in line with our priority of safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved in our programmes, production of the live shows cannot go ahead as planned. The live finals will therefore be broadcast later in the year.”

Britain’s Got Talent Predictions & Tips: How Can I Bet On Britain’s Got Talent?

Betting on television shows like Britain’s Got Talent has never been more popular, with all leading bookmakers offering odds on the ITV show headed up by Simon Cowell, including bet365.

The winner market goes live once the taped auditions get underway and it is updated as more contestants attempt to seal a spot on the final line-up for the Royal Variety Performance. The odds in this market will, of course, fluctuate as more names audition and earn a place in the live broadcasts later this year, so it may be advised to wait until the complete semi-final line-up is confirmed before backing a potential winner.

At the time of writing there are no other markets available for Britain’s Got Talent, but the bookmakers could introduce more once the semi-final line-up and the dates for the live broadcasts are confirmed.
