The taped auditions are now airing and the bookmakers have picked out the early front-runners, predicting a possible three-horse race between singers Beth Porch and Fayth ifil, and choir Sign Along With Us.

They remain some way behind Beth Porch in the outright betting, but at 9/2 they are currently one of just two other acts shorter than 20s at this stage.

The other act is young singer Fayth Ifil. The 12-year-old, who has starred in a couple of West End musicals, wowed the audience, the British public and the judges with her rendition of Tina Turner’s ‘Proud Mary’, and at 7/1 the bookmakers are not ruling out the possibility of her getting an opportunity to perform in front of the Royal family in future.

Sign Along With Us and Fayth Ifil are clearly the main rivals to Beth Porch, but at this time it is very difficult to look past the signing nurse, even though there are more auditions to come before the line-up for the semi-finals is complete. The 2020 Britain’s Got Talent schedule is uncertain at this time. “However, in light of the latest government health guidelines and in line with our priority of safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved in our programmes, production of the live shows cannot go ahead as planned. The live finals will therefore be broadcast later in the year.”
